Internship at Bishop Kearney
This is a collection of different projects I have done during my internship with Bishop Kearney High School here is Rochester, NY. This internship is in the advancement department under the supervision of Melanie Barnas-Simmons from late August to mid December 2019 helping with various projects and generating graphics.
First Annual Walk-A-Thon
This is a logo design for the first Walk-a-Thon fundraiser held on October 4th, 2019. This logo has been on all kinds of products such as hallway posters, thank you slideshows, the logo for the event on the fundraising site (justgiving.com). This logo was the chosen one of the two designs made. The second design is below.

Walk-a-thon Graphics
These are the twice weekly updates to the overall and by house thermometers for the walk-a-thon. The overall included sponsors donations that were not divided into the houses which is why the numbers do not fully add up. All students are broken up into four houses so the second style of graphic are showing the house totals. These are recurring graphics only with updated amounts and are used on the student run news station.

Walk-A-Thon Hallway Poster
This is the hallway poster to advertise the ways to fundraise and the prizes each student could get. The goal was to make this a very kid friendly poster since kids in 5th grade all the way through 12th grade would be walking by it everyday to read and look at.

Main Office Slide Show
This is the gif that was put on the school Facebook and played on the TV in the main office of all the sponsors who donated things or money to make the walk-a-thon possible

Annual Craft & Vendor Fair
The image below is a mock up for a banner for the annual parent run craft and vendor fair. The parent committee ultimately decided to go with their original design. Even despite that set back, this design has received numerous positive compliments and comments how it should have been used. This design was, however, used as a header image for the thank you letters sent out to donors up until the show was over. The overall size is meant to be eight foot long by three foot wide.Due to a technical difficulties this is a screenshot of the image, which is why there are the cyan markings along the edges.

Class of 1966 Fall Newsletter
The images below are the newsletter made to be mailed to the members of the first ever class to graduate from Bishop Kearney which was in !966. The concept for this design was based off a newspaper from 1966. This were modified to fit the needs for this letter and added color to make the images stand out, not look all muted and blend in. The letter was printed on a normal size paper of 8.5 by 11 double sided printing. The images below are screenshots of the document, photos of the actual printed copy will be added when the arrive back from the printers.

Annual Fund Update Letter
The images below are of the Annual fund letter that gets sent out this week to all prevous donors. For this letter I had to create a pie chart graphic to show how the money was used and add that to the letter created by my boss (Melanie Barnas-Simmons) and give the overall look a professional polish. To really make it stand out I turned the background the powder blue color of their school colors and made the header a darker blue to differenchate from the body. This will be a standard double sided print of 8.5 inches by 11 inches set to be printed and mailed out ASAP. Photos of the printed will be added once it returns from the printers.

2019 Gala Poster
The image below is the poster made to advertise the 2019 gala on facebook and in local shops around town to get more people and non-alum to come and enjoy the event. The Poster is an 8.5 inches by 11 inches to comply with most companies bulletin board policy and size requirements

Advertorial Campaign
The image below is each of the three advertorials run by Bishop Kearney in a local newspaper to showcase current students and potentially gain new students. There was a four week deal with the newspaper and it targeted different towns. The first weeks is the first image featuring volleyball star, Michelle Russotti. The next week featured football star, Nathan Carter. The following week featured Bishop Kearney Selects Academy hockey star and Rochester, NY local, Haley Winn. Haley was one of a few girls from the Bishop Kearney Selects Academy to partake in the 2019 IIHF World Championships. Her and two of her fellow teammates won gold for Team USA. One of her other teammates, Ashley Messier, the niece of NHL legend Marc Messier, won silver for Team Canada.

Mass Emails to Donors
The images below are of mass emails sent out to potential donors in attempt to obtain money and or thank thank them or update them on previous events. The first is of an email sent to everyone post gala thanking them for the turn out and informing them of how things went if they were not in attendance. The next two are of two different scholarship funds for two different classes. These were solicitation emails to fund both of those scholarships.

Groundbreaking Invite
This was an invitation I created that has been sent out to select alumni donors for the "ground breaking" of the boys side of the dorm floor to make the program start next school year. This is an elite program with boys coming from all over the country to attend Bishop Kearney and play hockey. This program will get them ready for the olympics, division 1 colleges, and maybe even the NHL.

Cars on Parade Invitation
This is the invitation sent out to all alumni inviting them to come look at some classic muscle cars in the private collection of a BK Alumnus. The background has a stain glass motif which is great since Bishop Kearney is a catholic school. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic the date has change but this is the invitation that was mailed out the te invited guets besides being used for some social media promotions for it.

Annual Alumni Donor Book
This is the annual book honoring and informing the donor from the past fiscal year. This book I collaborated with another graphic design intern during the final stages. This book was mailed out at the beginning of April, 2020.
